For as long as Nikki can remember, it has been her goal to own a bakery of her own. Her love for baking started at a young age. She began making apple pies with her father as a little girl; they are still one of her favorite things to make to this day.
Nikki Attended Dutchess County BOCES for Culinary Arts as well as the Culinary Institute of America. She has had the opportunity to study under some of the world's greatest master chefs. She also credits her mentor, Oliver Kita, with teaching her most of what she knows about the art of chocolate.
In 2009, Nikki suffered a life-altering accident where she broke her back. While discouraged and trying to navigate the bumps life threw her, Nikki's love for baking has only grown. After almost giving up on her dream, Nikki has put her over 20 years of experience to work to make her dreams come true and open The Confection Connection Bakery in 2026.
Nikki grew up in New York, so there is a heavy East Coast influence in her baking. You can expect to find Italian, French, and American chocolates, confections, and pastries. The bakery also does custom orders, so if you don't see what you're looking for, ask, chances are we can make it.

The Team is currently small, with Nikki being the only one in the kitchen, but that doesn't mean she is alone. She has the help of her brother Mike, who attends farmers' markets. She has a supportive family, friends, and a best friend, Ashley, who has spent countless hours listening to Nikki bounce ideas off of her and vent when needed.
